What is a payment gateway?

Payment gateways allow you to process online payments. If you've ever bought anything online, you'll have entered your card details into a form provided by a payment gateway.

Toggle is no different - when a customer wants to complete their order on your Toggle web shop, the final page where they make payment is where you need the services of a payment gateway.

The good news is that it's really simple to get one set up.

Getting started

To get started, head to settings > Payment Settings page in your dashboard.

Which one should I choose?

We recommend having a look at the rates, terms and service levels of the gateways on offer to make an informed decision.

However, if this is the first time you’ve taken payments online and want to get going quickly, Stripe offers the fastest and most simple way of getting started with Toggle.

Having trouble? Just drop us a message to success@usetoggle.com and we’ll help with your payment gateway set-up.
