If you're looking to increase footfall to your venue, perhaps during quieter times, creating a discounted or value-added card with a short-term expiry date can work a treat.

Here's how to create this offer.

Step 1: Create a card and assign a specific expiry date (e.g. August 31st)

Go to Products

Click Add

Select the Gift Card option

Name card something enticing e.g. 'The August special'

Assign specific expiry date

Step 2: Create special offer promotion

Go to Promotions

Click Add promotion

Select the Special Offer option

Select Added value and fixed value options

Select end date as the same as the card expiry date, or a few days earlier to allow some leeway

Now you've set this up, on your webshop a green label that highlights your special offer is there for anyone to see when they see that card. Shout about your promotion on social media and on your website to increase its exposure - emphasise that it's available for a limited time only!
