Fees:

Pepper charge a £300 flat fee, per month charge - from when the integration is initially enabled.

Providing you have setup the Pepper integration (see here).

Summary

The Pepper x Toggle integration will allow customers to;

  • Apply a gift card to a basket

  • Check a gift card balance

at the point of checkout. Any funds will be removed from their Toggle gift card and applied to the basket upon completion.

Apply a gift card

Once the customer has selected their items and proceeded to the checkout, they will be presented with an option to add a gift card

Once the gift card is added*, and applied - the maximum amount available will be removed from the basket.

*Note, a gift card cannot currently be scanned via the Pepper app, it must be manually entered by the customer

  • If there is £10 gift card used on a £20 purchase, the customer will have £10 removed from the gift card (leaving £0 on the gift card), and be required to pay the remaining £2 by another method.

  • If there is a £10 gift card used on a £8 purchase, the customer will have £8 removed from the gift card (leaving £2 on the gift card), and not be required to pay any further amount.

Once a gift card has been applied, the Payment info will be updated with the Gift Card Applied payment line and display the amount deducted off the bill.

Check a gift card balance

Once a gift card has been applied, there is a summary of how much is remaining on the card below the textbox

Tender vs Discount

The Pepper x Toggle integration does not support Tender vs Discount splits, for more detail on what this does - see here.
