Our Airship and Toggle connection allows you to issue unique Toggle promo codes to guests which you can send out in your automated and campaign emails. For example, this could be a promo code for 50% off a Toggle voucher within a Welcome email. The feature will protect your offer by preventing ‘promo code sharing’, as well as getting the individual's redemption information back into Airship.
Getting Started
Make sure Airship and Toggle are connected on your account. Follow the instructions here that explains all the steps to get it switched on.
Contact the Airship Customer Success Team and provide the details of the offer including the title of the campaign, validity and any additional T&Cs. They will then provide you with a Unique Code Group ID and a reward URL that can be embedded in your emails and sent out to your guests.
Create a Promo code by going on your Toggle account > Promotions > Create New and select ‘Airship Promotion’ as a promotion type (Note: that this option will only appear if Toggle x Airship connector is switched on).
4. Add the details of your promotion, select the Unique Code Group ID that was provided by the Airship Customer Success team and click Save.
The User Journey
Once you have your Toggle promotion live, and have received a Reward URL link from our Airship Customer Success team, you can now send the reward to your guests. If you’re doing it for the first time, follow our guide on how to send the reward here.
The customer will receive an email with an embedded reward link:
2. Once they click on the link, they will be taken to the reward page:
3. A unique Toggle promo code will show after they click on ‘Use Now’ button:
4. They can then go to your Toggle shop, select an item they would like to purchase and at the final checkout step they will be given an option to enter a promo code they were sent (more information on how promo codes work and look can be found in our guide here).
5. When a valid promo code is entered, the discount offer will be applied to the order:
Things to note
A Toggle promo code works only on one item in the basket
If there are multiple items in the basket, a Toggle promo code will be applied on the highest value item
The Airship x Toggle connection must remain in place for the promo code to work
In a scenario where you need to quickly end the offer, you can stop the promo codes by switching them to Inactive on your Toggle account which will then make the promo codes invalid
The Toggle products on which the prom code is valid is controlled by your set up on Toggle. Make sure the guest knows which products are included in your promotion.
