Introduction
When you sign up your Toggle account you are given a default domain containing your brand/company name followed by mytoggle.io - e.g.
yourbrand.mytoggle.io
.To see your current domain, log in to Toggle and click Customise > Domain
Step 1: Decide what your subdomain name will be
The most common ones are 'gifts' or 'shop'.
gifts.yourcompany.com
shop.yourcompany.com
Step 2: Log into your domain provider
Go to DNS Settings
This might be found under something like "advanced settings" or "manage domain" depending on your provider
Add a CNAME record using these details:
Host: e.g.
gifts
orshop
- or whatever subdomain you have chosenPoints to: your default Toggle domain (it'll look something like:
yourbrand.mytoggle.io
).TTL: Set to 1 hour or 3600 seconds
Save your changes
Test it using the CNAME Lookup Tool (example below)
Green tick = Success!
Red X = Double-check your set up on your domain provider
Step 3: Set Up SSL
If you have successfully set up your domain name, you need to:
Email Toggle support at (success@usetoggle.com) with your custom domain
They’ll configure the SSL certificate for secure browsing
Step 4: Update Your Toggle Dashboard
Once the Toggle team has done the SSL, you need to:
Go to Customise > Domain in your Toggle dashboard
Enter your new domain and save
You'll see your new domain showing on the 'My shop link' found on the dashboard sidebar (like shown below) and also on your browser search bar when you access your Toggle shop.

After this, find their website and log into it.

Yes, repeat the steps above for a new domain.
What if customers use the old domain?
They’ll be automatically redirected to the new one.
Does it cost extra?
Your domain provider might charge a fee - check with them.
