Setting up online payments with Global Payments

Use your Global Payments account to process your payments on your Toggle webshop. Here's how to get set up.

Getting started

If you wish to use Global Payments as your payment gateway with Toggle, it’s easy to get connected.

Once configured, customers paying for orders on your Toggle webshop will have their payments processed through your Global Payments account.

To get your Toggle gift card webshop and Global Payments account set up, here’s what you need to do next.

Prerequisites

Firstly, you will need to request the following from your Global Payments account manager:

  • Merchant ID

  • Sub Account

  • Shared Secret Key

Global payments will also request some details. In response, you can provide:

Configuring Toggle

The next step is to enter the Merchant ID, Sub Account and Shared Secret details from Global Payments in Toggle.

1 - Head to the Payment Settings page in your Toggle dashboard under Settings > Payment Settings.

2 - Click on Connect with Global Payments.

3 - In the popup window, enter the Merchant ID, Sub Account and Shared Secret in the fields provided.

4 - Click on Submit. You're done!

Do a live test

To check all is working OK, we recommend doing a live test. Head to your Toggle webshop and checkout with a test purchase. Did it all go through OK? You'll be able to see the transactions appear in your Global Payments dashboard.

You'll also see the order appear in Toggle.
