Physical gifting: Don’t leave revenue on the table
A physical gift card is more than a balance, it’s a high value extension of your brand that guests can actually wrap. In a world of digital noise, guests still crave a tangible present for birthdays, anniversaries, and Christmas. By offering traditional gift cards alongside our new greeting gift cards, you ensure your brand is the one physically handed over at every major milestone.
Master Your P&P Strategy
Did you know that your postage rates are a silent deal breaker for guests? Whilst your Toggle account automatically follows our base rates by default, you have total control to transform shipping costs into a powerful sales driver. Use the guide below to adjust your rates and test which strategy works best.

Every brand will see different results, your guests are unique, so experiment with these ideas to find your sweet spot:
High-Value Free Shipping: Offer free P&P on products that are high value (e.g., starting price £50+) - this can incentivise guests to spend more.
The Flat-Rate Anchor: Use a consistent, low cost P&P fee across all physical items and multiple purchases. This reduces abandoned baskets due to "postage shock" at checkout and makes the decision-making process effortless for the guest.
The Seasonal Incentive: During peak periods like the run up to Christmas or Black Friday, drive urgency with "Free P&P Weekend" offers to capture guests specifically looking for tangible, wrapped presents.
Last Chance: shift the focus from saving to certainty; late shoppers will gladly pay a premium for the peace of mind that a physical gift will arrive on time. Set clear deadlines, eliminating guesswork by stating Royal Mail cut off dates for all tiers
Pro Tip: Protect your margins!
Be mindful of your P&P thresholds. If you allow guests to purchase low value gift cards or greetings gift cards, offering low P&P rates may not be sustainable. Once you account for fulfilment costs, and merchant transaction fees, your margins on small orders can disappear quickly. Always ensure your P&P strategy scales profitably with the order value - your finance team might be able to help with this strategy if you’re not sure where to start.
You’ll also likely need to tweak your Flat-Rate Anchor prices to see what works best for your own guests. There isn't a "one-size-fits-all" cost that attracts everyone; the sweet spot varies depending on your specific brand demographic and guest expectations.
