Summary
Here's the steps to edit any product on your account:
Log in to your Toggle account
From the sidebar, click on Shop > Products
Click on product you want to edit
Now make the edits needed
Press Save
After pressing Save, the product will be updated and a green pop up appears on your screen like shown in the image below:
If you have made edits to a product on your dashboard that's had sales associated to it, after pressing save you'll also be prompted by this message:

If you select this option and made edits to the Product name, any existing orders made for this product will show the new name on the dashboard (on the Purchases section) and on the reports (e.g. on the Cards report on the 'Gift name' column).
If a customer registers their gift card or uses the Check Balance button on your Toggle shop they will see the new name.
If you updated the product image, the new image will be shown as well.
Important: expiry and validity rules behave differently
These two settings do not work the same way when a product already has cards sold against it.
Expiry dates: changing the expiry on a product only affects cards sold from now on. Cards already sold keep the expiry they were sold with.
Validity rules (the "Cards should become active" and "Valid after" settings): changing these does affect cards already sold. Every card sold individually through your webshop or your till checks the product's current validity rules each time someone tries to redeem it. If you move the "valid after" date into the future, cards your guests are already holding will stop working until that date arrives.
Cards created through a bulk order are not affected. They follow the validity rules set on the bulk order itself.
If you want new validity rules, create a new product. Don't re-use an old seasonal product by editing its dates, because that will break the cards sold on it last time round.
Cancel
If you want to cancel the changes made choose Cancel - this will take you back to the product config to re-edit the product or leave the page.
