FAQs

What are the costs associated with on - demand print?

There is just a one off cost of £249 to set up your first on - demand template, and your customers will cover the print and postage of each order. There are no ongoing fees. If you want to set up multiple different designs for your account, we would charge each additional template set-up at £160.

What do we need from you to get started?

We will handle the design & setup for you, all we need is a couple of things from you to do this!

  • Logo - Ideally in a vector format (.ai, .tiff, .svg) or a .png. We can work with .jpg if that's all you have available.

  • Brand colours - CMKY colour values would be ideal so we can get an accurate colour on screen before printing. We can also use HEX codes and RGB values.

  • Brand font(s) - Send over your brand font files.

  • Brand assets - If you use any textures, patterns, illustrations or any other design, send these over so we can feature these in the artwork. These would be ideal in a vector format (.ai, .tiff, .svg) or a png. We can work with .jpg if that's what you have available.

  • Brand / redemption wording - Provide us with a paragraph of text that will show on your print out. Whilst you can type anything in there, we envisage that you could use it to explain more about the gift, how to redeem it, and maybe a bit about yourselves for those who may not know you. This should be under 300 characters long.

What will the on-demand paper look like?

The on-demand print out will be printed upon 250gsm, branded A4 uncoated paper, folding into a tri-fold. The information displayed on the print is taken from your product page (just like with your digital gift emails). The on-demand is then packaged in a high quality white envelope and sent straight to your guest.

Please note: ink cracking is prone to happen on the fold line of vouchers. This is more obvious with darker backgrounds.

How long will it take to set up?

You can be selling on - demand within a week.

What will the recipient see?

We've annotated the template below to show what the different elements of the on - demand print.

  1. The product name is the item your guest has bought from your webshop.

  2. If your guest has purchased a monetary gift card, the value of this will display here. If they have purchased an experience, the sub-name (if you have one) of that experience will display instead of the value.

  3. Any message that your guest writes with the order will display here.

  4. This is the space for you to write something that'll help you guests know how to use their gift, and learn about your brand. Whilst you can type anything in there, we envisage that you could use it to explain more about the gift, how to redeem it, and maybe a bit about yourselves for those who may not know you. This can be up to 300 characters in length.

  5. You could consider this section the actual 'gift card'. This carries the code, and information needed to redeem, check balance and register their gift.

  6. You can use this footer space to direct your guests to your Terms & Conditions, or let them know your address. You have up to 150 characters in length for this, and this can be edited within Toggle directly:

Can I have individual designs for different products on my shop?

Yes! Each product could have their own design. These would be set up at a cost of £160 for each subsequent design.
