Overview
The easiest way to sell more gift cards and experiences is to make your Toggle shop easy to find on your own website. This guide shows you how to add a link to your shop, whatever platform your website is built on.
Every website is set up a little differently, so the exact buttons and menu names may not match yours. The idea is always the same though: you copy your Toggle shop link and paste it into your website as a menu item, a button or a pop-up.
Step 1: Copy your Toggle shop link
Before you touch your website, grab the link to your shop.
Log in to your Toggle dashboard.
Click My Shop Link in the sidebar. Your shop opens in a new tab.
Copy the full web address from the top of your browser.
If you have set up a custom URL for your shop, use that one. It looks more professional and helps guests feel they are still buying from you.
Keep this link handy. You will paste it into your website in the next step.
Step 2: Choose how to show your shop
There are three common ways to add your shop. You can use one, or mix and match.
Option | What it looks like | Best for |
Menu link | A new item in your website's main menu, such as "Gift Cards" or "Shop" | Every venue. This is the one we recommend most. |
Button | A clickable button on a page, such as your homepage | Making the shop stand out on key pages |
Pop-up or banner | A box or strip that appears on your site with a button inside | Seasonal pushes like Christmas, Mother's Day or Black Friday |
Whichever you pick, the steps are the same: add the menu item, button or pop-up, then paste your Toggle shop link into its link box.
Tip: If your website gives you an "Open in new tab" option, switch it on. This keeps your main website open in the background while guests shop.
Please note: Toggle does not support iframes. An iframe is a bit of code that shows another website inside a box on your page. If you try this with your Toggle shop, the checkout page will not work, so guests will not be able to pay. Always use a link or button that takes guests straight to your Toggle shop instead.
Step 3: Add the link on your website platform
Below are quick steps for the most popular website builders. These platforms update their layouts from time to time, so if a button has moved, look for words like "Menu", "Navigation" or "Add link".

WordPress
Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
Menu link: Go to Appearance > Menus. Under Custom Links, paste your Toggle link into the URL box, type a name like "Gift Cards", then click Add to Menu and Save Menu.
On newer WordPress themes, go to Appearance > Editor > Navigation instead, click the + icon and paste your link.
Button: Edit the page you want, add a Button block, type your button text, then click the link icon and paste your Toggle link.

Squarespace
Open your site and click Pages.
Click the + next to your main navigation and choose Link.
Give it a name, paste your Toggle link, and tick Open in new tab if you want to.
Button: Edit a page, add a Button block, and paste your Toggle link into its link settings.
Wix
Open your site in the Wix Editor.
Go to Pages & Menu (or Menus & Pages) and choose Add Link (sometimes under Add Menu Item).
Choose Web Address, paste your Toggle link, and pick New window if you want it to open in a new tab.
Button: Add a button to your page, click Link, choose Web Address and paste your Toggle link.

Shopify
From your Shopify admin, go to Content > Menus (on some accounts this is Online Store > Navigation).
Click your main menu, then Add menu item.
Type a name, paste your Toggle link into the link box, then click Add and Save.

GoDaddy
Open your GoDaddy website builder and click Edit Website.
Go to your site's pages or navigation settings and add a new Link.
Paste your Toggle link and give it a name.
Button: Most GoDaddy sections have a button option. Paste your Toggle link into the button's link box.

Webflow
Open your site in the Webflow Designer.
Select your navigation bar and add a new Nav Link.
In the link settings, choose URL and paste your Toggle link.
Publish your site so the change goes live.

Something else?
Most other website builders work the same way. Look for your menu or navigation settings, add a new link or button, and paste in your Toggle link.
If a web developer or agency looks after your site
If someone else built or manages your website, just send them your Toggle shop link and tell them where you would like it to appear. Here is a message you can copy:
Hi, please could you add a link to our new gift card shop on our website? The link is: [paste your Toggle shop link]. Ideally we would like it in the main menu called "Gift Cards", and a button on the homepage too. Thanks!
Top tips to get more sales
Make it easy to find. Put the link in your main menu or on your homepage, not hidden away at the bottom of the site.
Use clear words. "Gift Cards", "Experiences" or "Shop" work better than vague labels.
Match your branding. Keep your Toggle shop's colours and logo in line with your website so guests feel at home.
Test it. Once the link is live, click it yourself on a computer and on your phone to make sure it opens your shop.
Share it everywhere. Add the same link to your social media, emails and booking confirmations.
