If you have lots of sites to add to your Toggle account you can upload a CSV with all the details of those sites to your Toggle dashboard, to make the process quick.
Step 1: Add your site details to a CSV file
Log into Toggle and go to Settings and Site Settings on the sidebar.
To add sites individually you can click the blue 'Add site' button found in the top right.
To add sites in bulk click the 'Upload CSV' instead.
Step 2: Upload the CSV file to Toggle
After clicking the 'Upload CSV' button you will see this page:
Here you'll see the example CSV file that is required for a bulk upload of sites to be successful. To make sure you follow this template exactly we have included a link to the CSV file for you to use:
The file looks like this:
The headers are as follows:
name
site_reference
address_line_1
address_line_2
town_city
postcode
Please do not alter these headers, including capitalisation and underscores
Here's an example we've done:
After you save the file, go back to the Toggle dashboard and click the blue button that says 'Drag CSV here or click to browse' or drag and drop your file from your desktop to that button.
Once you have uploaded your sites file you will see two options appear:
A red 'remove file' button - click this if you need to remove the file you chose.
A green 'Check and upload' button - click this if you're happy to proceeed
After clicking 'Check and Upload' you will see this screen:
The system will check if there's any existing sites on your account that have the same name and site reference, to prevent duplicates. If there's a duplicate site, your file will overwrite the existing one with any new details like postcode.
When you click the green 'Upload' button you will be directed back to the Settings > Site Settings page where you'll see those sites now added!
How to edit sites you uploaded
You can either re-upload a CSV file with the addresses on them and any duplicates already on the dashboard will ne overridden by the new upload.
Or, you can click on the 3 dots next to the site you want to edit and click edit.
From here you can edit the name or postcode or click the blue Edit address if you need to edit the address.
How to delete a site
Click on the 3 dots next to the site that's listed and click Delete.
